Who we are

A Mobile Repair Outfit Built for Grande Prairie Equipment

Northern Mobile Repair is a mobile mechanic and service truck operation working out of Grande Prairie. The model is simple: bring the shop to the equipment. A stocked service truck with diagnostics, hose crimping gear, a welder and a compressor handles a large share of the faults that put trucks and machines out of service around the Peace Country, without a tow bill or a spot in someone else's shop queue.

The work reflects what this region actually runs — highway tractors and grain trailers on Highway 43, service and picker trucks on lease roads, wheel loaders in gravel pits, tractors and augers on farms near Sexsmith and Wembley, and municipal and contractor fleets that need inspection-ready records. Downtime in every one of those cases has a number attached to it, and that number is the reason we prioritise honest triage over a long list of upsells.

How We Work

Diagnose before parts

Scan tools, pressure tests and a proper look at the system come first. Replacing parts until something changes is expensive and it hides the real fault.

Fix it on site when it makes sense

Air leaks, hoses, sensors, wiring, brakes, wheel ends, charging faults and plenty of other work belongs in the field. That is where the service truck earns its keep.

Say so when it does not

Internal engine work, transmission tear-downs and machine work need a shop. You get told that early, plus what to do to move the unit safely in the meantime.

Who Calls Us

  • Trucking & Logistics
  • Oilfield & Energy Services
  • Agriculture & Grain Hauling
  • Heavy Construction
  • Commercial Fleets

Owner-operators and single-unit customers are just as welcome as fleets. A driver stuck on the shoulder gets the same triage as a dispatcher with fifteen units.

What We Do Not Do

We do not pad invoices with parts that were not needed, promise arrival windows we cannot hold, or claim a field repair will solve a problem that needs a hoist. If the honest answer is "this needs a shop" or "this is outside what we cover," that is the answer you get — usually on the first phone call, before anyone spends money.

Service area, availability and what can realistically be completed on site are all discussed up front. See the service area page for coverage, or the FAQ for how calls are handled.

Put Us to Work

One breakdown call or an ongoing maintenance schedule — both start the same way.
